Danestone Market
An all-new farmers market is shortly set to commence, located at the TESCO Danestone Car park, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. The first maket is to be held on Saturday 22nd August, between 9am and 2pm, and thereafter will operate on the last Saturday of the month, commencing Saturday September 26th 2009.
Run by the producers themselves with kind permission of Tesco extra at Danestone, we hope to tempt shoppers to try some of the high quality, low volume produce from a wide variety of quality producers from the region. Here is a list of the some of the produce available:
Fresh fish - Organic Beef & Lamb - Home cured bacon and pork - Award winning cheeses, yoghurts and yoghurt drinks - Wild venison & game - Home made preserves & condiments - Home bakes - hand made fudge - locally produced hand-made chocolates - Locally produced oilseed rape oil products - artisanal charcuterie products - wild fruit drinks - farmed venison - fresh locally produced bread & rolls - hand made soaps - Organic vegetables and salad leaves, and much more!
